Description:
1843Hrs. The team were called by West Yorkshire Police who were concerned for the whereabouts of an 82 year old lady who had not returned from a walk in freezing conditions. Because of the weather it was unlikely that she would survive the night, so the search took on an urgent nature. After less than an hour of searching she was located. She was very cold and had numerous small cuts from becoming entangled in brambles. She was stretchered to our Land Rover ambulance and transported to where she could be handed over to the ambulance service and taken to hospital where she made a full recovery.
