Helmets and Harness

To adhere to current health and safety regulations, the team is required to replace helmets and harnesses soon as most are approaching their replacement date.

Lighting

Team members are deployed in all weather conditions, day or night so the use of a quality head torch and hand torch is vital to ensure that each member can operate safety in any situation. A quality hand torch for searching is approximately £70 each. We require 20 to replenish our Fell Party Kits (Cost £1400)

Scene Lighting

When operating at night, most casualty sites will require additional lighting to make medical treatment easier and evacuation rapid and safe. Improvements in technology – LED Lighting and to Rechargeable Batteries means the team would benefit from upgrading and enhancing our current night time capabilities. To do this, we are looking to acquire 1 x Peli 9440 Remote Area Lighting System on each response vehicle (3 Lamps in total) £2602.29 Total or £867.43 each.
